1st half

Game kicked off and both teams seemed quite well matched. The boys where up for keeping their unbeaten start going. Good early pressure from ourselves forced an early corner which they managed to defend well. We were on top and looking good moving the ball about and Eli busy all over the field. Bitton managed to force us back with their own corner which Brandon dealt with. Bitton were starting to force us on to the back foot now and if not for a last ditch tackle from Eli preventing their striker being one on one with Brandon. The game was becoming very tight as neither side wanted to concede the opening goal. George goes on a run and delivers a good cross which the Birdman just can’t manage to convert. Harry Clarke is having a really good game at the back and showing some nice touches and used the ball well going forward. This game is great to watch with both sides playing well. Half-time 0-0.

2nd half

Bitton kicked off the second half and seem to start better than us (we look like we are at half time tea) We manage to wake up and start to force the pace of the game with Eli running his sock’s off. The team is now firing on all cylinders and it looks like the first goal will be enough to win the match The Birdman breaks free of the last defender but he just manages to get back and force it out for a corner but they manage to clear it and attack themselves managing to hit the post which is lucky for us. From one of our attacks Jacob is chopped down and the ref waves play on which lets Bitton attack . But Brandon is in no mood to concede a goal and saves bravely at the attackers feet. The keeper training is starting to pay of with him once again barking orders at his team (well done Brandon). The game finishes 0-0 but both teams played really well and a draw was a fair result.

M.O.M ; ELI BRITTON he must have covered every blade of grass on the pitch and made some great last ditch tackles.

1st half

Game kicked off and turned into a midfield battle which all revolved around Kaka. Bitton forced the first corner which Josh headed clear. Bitton continue to attack and from a good shot Oliver makes a fine save which brings a smile to his face and settles any early nerves he has. From his goal kick Dan and Kaka work a shooting chance for Dan that their keeper saves well. We start to push Bitton back and force a shooting chance again. This time Callum's shot is forced out for a corner which Bitton defend well and attack us straight away to win their own corner but we managed to clear our lines. We attack again and Callum has a good chance but miscues his effort. The midfield battle continues and after good build up play we create a chance for Dan but he hits it straight at the keeper who releases early and Bitton score against the run of play. 1-0. Bitton scored their second after good work in midfield the defence were caught AWOLl 2-0 to Bitton. Half time.

2nd half

Fry’s kicked off and the game continued as in the 1st half , with all the action in the middle of the park. Bitton broke, but Oliver pounced and snuffed out the attack. We won a corner but couldn’t force the ball in the net. A fierce clearance by a Bitton defender hit Kaka in the face but Kaka bounced back up to his feet (true captain style). Bitton won another corner, but Fry’s defended well and a long goal kick by Oliver provided Callum with a chance but Bitton managed to clear. Bitton created a good chance and managed to score a third to make it 3-0. Fry’s should have been awarded a penalty due to a blatent hand ball, but the ref bottled it, (daylight robbery!). Bitton broke and scored their fourth goal to make it 4-0 to Bitton. A smart through ball from Callum provided Kaka with a half chance, but he couldn’t quite get past the defender. Callum made a good run but his cross was cleared. Fry’s created another chance a Kaka shot was well saved, final whistle 4-0 to Bitton but the boy’s all battled well.

M.O.M ; DAN PAYNE (KAKA) he showed all the leadership of a true captain and showed some great moments on the ball and kept the team going forward.
